Notice on Inviting High-Tech Diving Equipment Suppliers and Tourism Diving Service Providers to Establish a Shared Business Model
To All Diving Equipment Manufacturers and Diving Service Enterprises,
The Hainan Tourism Diving Development Conference & Symposium on Marine Economic Construction and Development, hosted by the China Diving and Salvage Association (CDSA), will be held in Sanya from May 12 to 13, 2026.
To advance technological innovation in China's diving equipment sector, promote the market application of high-end and new-type diving gear, and support the development of China's tourism diving industry, the conference will feature a full-session High-Tech Diving Equipment Exhibition, together with four key parallel activities.
We hereby invite international manufacturers of diving equipment and Diving Service Enterprises to participate. Details are announced as follows:
I. Conference Theme and Objectives
The conference is themed “Enjoying the Free Trade Blue Bay & Inheriting Cultural Roots through Diving —— Forging a New Model of China's Diving Tourism Industry”.
It aims to:
Implement the national strategies of "Cultural Powerhouse", “Tourism Powerhouse”, “Maritime Powerhouse” and the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port;
Build an exchange platform for government, industry, academia, research and application;
Advance the development of China's tourism diving system;
Promote Hainan as a premium tourism diving destination;
Explore new development pathways such as tourism diving + AI + technology + ecology;
Establish China's image as a major cultural country in tourism diving.
II. Conference Profile and Scale
The conference will invite approximately 700 participants, including:
Heads of international and domestic tourism and diving organizations;
Leaders from government and relevant authorities;
Representatives from ocean-related tourism universities and research institutions;
Executives of ocean-related tourism and engineering enterprises;
Member units of CDSA;
Tourism diving cultural creation institutions and practitioners;
National and industry-leading media;
Relevant experts and scholars.

Forum on Establishing a Shared Economic Model for Diving Equipment for diving equipment manufacturers and tourism diving service providers.

Morning: Exhibition Tour; Opening Ceremony of the Conference; Symposium on the Inheritance and Promotion of Tourism Diving Culture & Launch Event for New Business Forms, New Scenarios and New Themes of Tourism Diving.
Afternoon: CDSA Diver's Day Celebration
Evening: Cooperation Forum between Inland Urban Diving Centers and Outdoor Diving Service Enterprises.
(3) May 13
Morning: Symposium on Marine Economic Construction and Development & Launch Event for New Achievements, New Equipment and New Technologies of China's Tourism Diving System
Afternoon: Visit to the Demonstration of Service Standards for Tourism Diving Enterprises in Hainan hosted by the Association & Unveiling Ceremony of Tourism Diving Bases.
IV. Eligibility for Shared Service Providers & Participants
(1) Eligibility – Diving Equipment Manufacturers (Exhibition, Promotion & Shared Operation)
Legally registered and compliant enterprise with independent operation capacity, no record of abnormal business operations or violations of laws and regulations.
Possess fixed production facilities, professional equipment and supporting production lines, with mass production capacity.
Exhibits must comply with national, industrial or internationally recognized standards, hold valid intellectual property rights (IPR), and support full-process traceability.
Manufacturers participating in the shared service model must provide end-to-end capabilities, including supply, after-sales service and technical support, to ensure sustainable and practical cooperation.
CDSA member enterprises will be given priority access to booths, conference promotion and business matchmaking under equal conditions.
(2) Eligibility – Diving Service Enterprises (Shared Diving Equipment Operation)
Legally registered independent legal entity with independent operation capacity, no record of abnormal business operations or legal violations.
Own or lawfully use fixed diving operation premises, with supporting ownership certificates or valid lease contracts.
Employ stable, professional staff for diving equipment management, maintenance and quality control, familiar with relevant operational procedures and requirements.
Have a sound system for diving safety, production, risk prevention and control, and on-site emergency medical & first-aid capabilities.
CDSA member enterprises will be given priority in business matchmaking under equal conditions.
(3) Welcome Note
Diving equipment distributors and agents are also welcome to attend the conference.
V. General Arrangements
Participants shall be responsible for their own travel, accommodation and meals. A list of recommended hotels with group rates will be provided.
The number of exhibitors is limited to 10. Exhibitors must present high-end, reliable, market-oriented and innovative diving equipment.
All types of diving service enterprises are welcome to register, including:
Commercial diving contractors
Urban diving centers
Tourism diving operators in coastal, cave, quarry, offshore and vessel-related diving sectors.
Manufacturers selected for conference presentations may introduce only one flagship product, with a time limit of 10 minutes (supported by PPT, physical items or models).
Seats and booths are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until fully booked.
