China Diving and Salvage Association

Approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China, China Diving and Salvage Association (CDSA, formerly China Diving & Salvage Contractors Association) was formally established in Beijing on June 2, 2008, forming the development system and mechanism of industry self-regulation under government supervision.

CDSA is a state-level non-profit association which is constituted by enterprises and institutions in fields of diving, salvage, rescue, marine & underwater engineering, equipment & facility manufacturing, diving medical support, marine research, pollution prevention, training and insurance in China. It is registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China and its business is under the guidance of the Ministry of Transport of China.

Over the years of hard work, we have grown into a prosperous leading organization in the field. Today, the number of China Diving and Salvage Association member has grown from 114 at the beginning to nearly 1,000. The Association has 5 offices, 1 liaison office, 4 divisions (one is under preparation) and 13 specialized committees (one is under preparation). Over the years, the Association has developed into an influential industry association at home and abroad.
