Ms. Zhang Wangxi

Chairman of Qingdao Hanyu Shengyu Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd.

Ms. Zhang Wangxi, Chairman of the company, has long focused on the R&D of life support equipment for diving and tunnelling hyperbaric operations. Addressing prominent safety risks in hyperbaric work during shield tunnelling, he devotes himself to technological research on life support for special pressurized environments.

Over the past three years, he has led the development, testing and on-site implementation of the life support system for diving and shield hyperbaric operations. The system has completed simulated hyperbaric trials involving 2,000 person-times under pressures ranging from 6.3 bar to 9.5 bar, supporting multiple rounds of on-site hyperbaric cutter replacement. A total of 104 shield cutters have been replaced, with zero cases of decompression sickness and zero safety incidents throughout all hyperbaric operations.

Guided by Henry’s Law and Haldane’s decompression theory, the team has overcome key technical challenges including hyperbaric breathing gas formulation, intelligent pressure control and special breathing apparatus. A portfolio of derivative products has been developed, such as intelligent decompression chambers, plateau oxygen supplementation respirators, mild-pressure wellness oxygen chambers, multi-tower PSA oxygen generators and sterilization equipment for manned enclosures. This enables the transfer of special hyperbaric technology to diversified scenarios including engineering operations, plateau regions, civilian wellness and environmental disinfection.

Going forward, his team will continue to pursue independent innovation, refine the full range of hyperbaric life support equipment, strive to break safety bottlenecks for special operations, and accelerate the technological upgrading and large-scale industrial application of domestic life support systems for the 4.0–9.5 bar pressure range.

Title of the Speech: Serving the Maritime Power Strategy, Pooling Strength for High-Quality Integrated Industrial Development

Abstract: Qingdao Hanyu Shengyu Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. has spent three years developing a life support system for diving and shield tunnelling hyperbaric operations. The system has undergone hyperbaric tests under shield operating conditions of 6.3–9.5 bar covering 2,000 person-times, and carried out 35 days of practical hyperbaric operations with 1,470 person-participations. During these operations, 104 shield machine cutters were replaced, without any decompression sickness or safety accidents related to hyperbaric work.

Built upon Henry’s Law and Haldane’s decompression theory, the system complies strictly with diving safety and decompression standards. It scientifically sets partial pressures of nitrogen and oxygen, as well as exposure durations for ultra-high-pressure hyperbaric work, effectively avoiding risks of nitrogen narcosis and oxygen toxicity while mitigating physical effects of helium.

The complete system consists of core hardware including helium gas supply cabinets, high-purity compressed air purification units, breathing gas blending modules, full-process breathing gas monitoring units, oxygen-enriched decompression equipment, low-resistance oxygen inhalation/exhalation devices, deck decompression chambers and mild-pressure wellness oxygen chambers. It provides full-process support covering ultra-high-pressure breathing gas generation, gas supply monitoring, low-resistance inhalation under ultra-high pressure, oxygen-enriched decompression, decompression oxygen uptake and release, intelligent secondary surface decompression, and rehabilitation wellness.

Based on this core platform, six series of high-tech products have been rolled out: oxygen-enriched decompression controllers for pressure chambers, plateau oxygen supplementation respirators, intelligent decompression chambers, mild-pressure wellness oxygen chambers, linked multi-tower PSA oxygen generators, and sterile disinfection devices for living spaces. These extended products serve multiple sectors including engineering operations, medical rehabilitation, civilian wellness and plateau oxygen supply. They feature oxygen and compressed air conservation, fully automatic chamber operation, zero breathing resistance for oxygen inhalation equipment, safe oxygen control in confined spaces, and non-hazardous sterilization, realizing the transformation of professional shield and diving equipment technology for civilian and special-operation applications.

Ms. Tian Panpan

Senior Auditor | Member of the Editorial Committee for Association Standards | Industry Regulatory Expert

Ms. Tian Panpan graduated from Shandong University, majoring in Business Administration. She is currently a Senior Auditor at CICA (Shandong) Certification Service Co., Ltd., and a member of the editorial committee for the group standard T/CDSA 404.3—2026 Certification requirements of quality, occupational health and safety, and Environmental Management Systems for commercial diving firm. She has been appointed as an expert for the “Double-Random, One Public” supervision and inspection program for certification bodies by the Shandong Certification and Accreditation Association.

Title of Speech: Analysis and Practical Guide to the Standard: Certification Requirements of Quality,Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management Systems for Commercial Diving Firm

Abstract: This presentation focuses on the analysis of group standard T/CDSA 404.3—2026 (DSQSE): Certification Requirements for Quality, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems in Engineering Diving Form.

Addressing the pain points of the commercial diving industry, including high‑risk operation characteristics and insufficient adaptability of generic management‑system standards, this standard is compatible with the frameworks of the three core ISO management systems. It adopts the PDCA closed-loop model to realize integrated management covering quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection. Centering on industry-specific requirements such as diving-operation risk control, personnel and equipment assurance, and process traceability, the standard fills the gap in domestic industry certification. It helps enterprises guarantee operational safety and protect marine ecosystems, and promotes standardized and high-quality development of the diving and salvage industry.
